With the NFL trade deadline quickly approaching, here are four deals that could happen for the Green Bay Packers.

NFL fans rejoice as football season is in full swing. It has been a crazy seven weeks and we are almost halfway through the year. The Packers are in need of a wide receiver and have been linked to multiple people. The first three deals will revolve around a receiver while the fourth is a defensive Packers trade, and the fifth is two different teams.

The Packers Cook Up A Trade With The Texans

Green Bay Packers receive: WR Brandin Cooks

Houston Texans receive: 2023 third-round pick, 2024 sixth-round pick

Green Bay needs receiver help and has been linked to Cooks for a long time. All hope was lost in the offseason when he signed an extension with Houston but the most traded player in NFL history could be out the door again. The Texans receiving core probably doesn’t want to lose their best player and with little good depth at the position, but with playoff hopes pretty much out the door, they could make a move. The Texans add a third to their stash of picks next year and the 2024 sixth sweetens the deal.

Chasing A Playoff Spot In Titletown

Green Bay Packers receive: WR Chase Claypool

Pittsburgh Steelers receive: 2023 third-round pick

Mapletron heading to Wisconsin? Chase Claypool hasn’t done much this season but that really hasn’t been his fault. The former second-round pick is on a rookie contract and has a lot of potential as he showed in 2020. Pairing him with Aaron Rodgers could unleash his potential but I don’t see the Packers sending a second as the Steelers want. If Steel City lowers its asking price, a third will work for Green Bay.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling Replacement?

Green Bay Packers receive: WR KJ Hamler, 2023 seventh-round pick

Denver Broncos receive: 2023 fourth-round pick, WR Amari Rodgers

The former Penn State receiver heads to the Packers. Hamler is young and hasn’t really done much in Denver despite his deep-threat ability. He is fast and could give speed to the Green Bay offense. A fourth-round pick isn’t much to give up and Amari Rodgers can add a seventh-round pick to the deal as the former third-rounder has been playing terribly this season after his fumble on special teams against the Washington Commanders.

Corner Depth From New York

Green Bay Packers receive: CB Bryce Hall

New York Jets receive: 2023 sixth-round pick, 2024 seventh-round pick

Bryce Hall had a quite good season last year, but he hasn’t done much this year leading to him wanting out. With Jaire Alexander trying to stay healthy, and Shemar Jean-Charles also injured, Hall could provide depth to a good cornerback group at a low cost.
